This site tends to focus on Mandarin but couldn't resist posting this pretty amusing video for Cantonese word of the week - 公主病 (Gung Jyuh Behng) - Princess sickness.

The intonation of this particular princess sickness knows no language barrier. Anyone know the Mandarin equivalent?

I saw this video via these people on twitter: @marcwan and @choowie.

See more of Cantonese word of the week at their facebook page here.

The same word is used: 公主病 (gōng zhǔ bìng) just with Mandarin tones and pronunciation.

There is also 公主症候群 (gōng zhŭ zhèng hòu qún), which means princess syndrome, but it only gets 780,000 hits on Google, as opposed to the 10 million plus that the former receives.
