We provide programs for children through adults on Chinese language and culture, China study abroad consulting, and China business consulting. Based in Providence, Rhode Island, we are forming partnerships throughout New England with educational, non-profit, government, and private institutions. This summer we are offering new Chinese language programs for high school students, including conversational Chinese, SAT Mandarin Chinese, and AP Chinese.

The difference between 就 jiù and 才 cái.

The adverb 就 jiù is used before a verb to suggest the earliness, briefness , quickness or sooner than expected of the action. The Adverb 才 cái is the opposite. It suggests the tardiness or lateness of an action as perceived by the speaker.

For example:

1, 八 点  上  课,他七 点 就 来了。

   bā diǎn shàngkè,  tā qī diǎn…


The difference between 或者 huòzhě and 还是 háishì - either / or

1, 或者huòzhě (either... or ...) and 还是háishì means ‘or’ in English, They usually used by linking up two words or phrases that indicate different alternatives.  或者huòzhě is usually used in statements and 还是háishì in questions.  For example:


(1) A:你  想   喝茶,      咖啡    还是  水?

            nǐxiǎng héchá,   kāfēi háishì shuǐ…
