3 "important" Chinese idioms - learn how "重" zhòng is used

zhòng usually means "heavy, important, or powerful". In the following three Chinese idioms,  zhòng is used for different meanings. Please pay attention to what exactly  zhòng is used for, and at the same time, learn three new Chinese idioms for yourself:

语重心长 yǔ zhòng xīn cháng:  speak with meaningful and heartfelt words 

避重就轻 bì zhòng jiù qīng:  avoid the important and dwell on the trivial

任重道远 rèn zhòng dào yuǎn:  to bear heavy responsibilities through a long struggle
