I really want more variety of fun & informal greetings to say to my 中国人同事 zhōng guó rén tóng shì。(chinese colleagues). I started saying 'What up' due to overuse on Futurama and want an equivalent.
What are good, short & interesting ways to greet people besides staples like 你好 nǐ hǎo，吃饭了吗 chī fàn le ma，早 zǎo?
I asked the question on italki, got these responses.
怎么了? zěn me le?
沒事吧 méi shì bā
in Chinglish "Halo"(Hello)哈喽、"Hai"(Hi)嗨,these are informal greets between friends.
1. hǎo ā ,好啊；
2.zuì jìn zĕn me yàng 最近怎么样；
3. gàn má qù le 干嘛去了；
4 qì sè bù cuò 气色不错；
5.yŏu xīn xiān shì méi 有新鲜事没？
6. méi shá shì bā 没啥事吧
And this answer, which has a pretty interesting google translation
Well hello, you told him: "Hello ah! " on it.
dá zhāo hu ma nĭ jiù gēn tā shuō hā lóu ā jiù kĕ yĭ le
