TV Shows/Movies on Netflix 2017

Hello, I was wondering if there are any TV Shows or Movies on Netflix that anyone would recommend. After studying, sometimes I like to watch a little bit of Netflix. I watch with English subtitles. I know there are some shows/movies that are dubbed too, but I am looking for some that are originally in Mandarin. If there are other shows and movies on other sites that people recommend, they are more than welcome as well.Thank you,SydneySee More

Siri

Does (s)he really does pick up on tones? That way I can use her to practice some speaking when I am studying alone. This might be one of the silliest things, but I recently upgraded from a 4 (without Siri) to a 5c and now have Siri. I was waiting on a friend yesterday and decided to play around with Siri. I noticed Siri can be programmed to be a Male and then also to speak in a British accent. I thought this only meant Siri would have a British accent, but as I believe it, I think with the…See More

Higher pitch when speaking Mandarin?

I have a question! When you speak Mandarin, do you speak with a "higher" voice than when you speak English? And for Mandarin speakers, do you speak lower in English compared with your Mandarin?I would really like to know because I think I am able to speak the tones better (have them be more distinguished) if I speak in a higher pitch, but I am not sure if this is true for everyone or if I should even bother using a higher pitch and just speak in my "regular" voice instead.Has anyone noticed…See More
