This photo was taken in the sports meeting today. This athletic is called Tai Chi, a kind of traditional Chinese shadow boxing. I'm new in this school, many seniors told me that we should master the skills of this sport as a student of university of traditional Chinese medicine. They told me that to play Tai Chi, we have to keep a quiet mind, and the speed was not the prime objective. I still think Tai Chi is an exercise for the elderly though. Don't you think? :)

Enjoy!

Haha..

林浩,I was saying that this photo was taken in the stadium of my school. The show was made up of a thousand students. They were from different institutes of my school.

I really don't know how to play Tai Chi, but I do know there are many people from all over the world who like Tai Chi very much, and every year some of them come to China to take part in the Tai Chi contest with Chinese people, and of course some of them can play it very well, even better than some Chinese. I'm really glad that so many people like Tai Chi! :)

祝你在法国一切顺利!

阵容强大:)I remember when I was little, I did something similar to this; but not this kind of grand scale. I did not do Tai Chi though. It was 跆拳道,now I remember. Thank you for the picture.

yes Zhang !!

the Chinese practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and martial arts training, extends back more than 4,000 years.

practice of qigong is an important component in Chinese martial arts.[5] Focus on qi is considered to be a ource of power as well as the foundation of the internal style of martial arts (Neijia). T'ai chi ch'uan, Xing yi, and Baguazhang are representative of the types of Chinese martial arts that rely on the concept of qi as the foundation.
