Can anyone tell me what the name of this ship means. I looked up the pinyin in my dictionary but none of the meanings match the characters.

振华  ( Zhèn huá )

Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited Number 26.

The company is also called ZPMC and here is the company's web site:

Xiexie Thomas. Much appreciated.

I think "振华" is the come from of "振兴中华 zhènxīng zhōnghuá".

It means the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

I think so also.

xi huan - like

A word I have learnt recently is 生面团 , she1ng mia4ntua2n - dough. I make my own bread and so this is of interest to me. I thought it was interesting that the first word means 'life' as the yeast in the dough is, in fact, alive.

The recent chinese word that I've learned is 机会

Last week I heard someone say 况且 kuangqie which stuck in my head. It means, Besides or furthermore. I now have to learn to use it correctly. Then a friend said to use 而且 erqie instead.
