"Slang" with the meaning of rough language is a collective noun, and hence has no plural.

"Slangs" would only mean the rough usages of different languages, e.g. Japanese and Chinese slangs are both...

It is unpleasant that your word processor slams sentences and paragraphs together arbitrarily, and for two different reasons. 1.) After I have just spent a few seconds making sure a message is appropriately formatted, it is a nasty little surprise to be overruled by an ignorant and careless machine. 2.) Your good newsletter's appearance is less readable and less attractive than need be: solid blocks of text are always unattractive, so why generate more of them than the world already does? -dlj.
