Watch an animation called 小蝌蚪找妈妈 or in English, "Little Tadpole Looking for Mom". It is a Chinese animation made from Chinese paintings. The story is about tadpoles seeking their mother.

Mx remembers watching this show when she was young.  We watch it every once in a while with our 3 year old.  It's a fun video with traditional Chinese paintings!
