Please don't hurt the animals while teasing them

Great sign. Which part of this sign means 'teasing'?  And / or how should this have been translated? (sign pic via cool hand wendell on tumblr)

 

I like the second character,  wù which means 'do not'.  I remember it because it looks like a bear and always makes me think "I d not feed the bear if I were you".

戏弄 (xìnòng)means "to tease" or "to make fun of."
Maybe it should be "please don't provoke the animals"? That sounds a little more normal.
Sounds a little awkward, but it's better than the "relic protected, no scratch" signs at the Forbidden City lol
