English translation
I follow to join the tour group when travel to Thailand because vacation started from 1st Oct (Chinese national holidays). But I got the idea to go sightseeing in Thailand on 25th Sep, which is a bit of a hurry, so I chose to join a tour group instead.

----------------
After that experience, I will never join a tour group again. Thailand is a country which has great sea views. I will have a vacation there again if I have the chance and I will absolutely choose to tour myself.

At the very end of the story, I see how 自助游 = Zìzhù Yóu = "self tour".  How has it been extended by you to mean tour with others in the "Mandarin Vocabulary for Travel" Section ?  Is it just the lack of plurals that allows the phrase to be self or group tour at the same time.  In the first part of story we used the phrase  跟团游  =  Gēn tuán yóu  =  "With group tour" which I understand.

Usually you will get reply: "No" if you just say this sentence, will be better if you quickly explian why you are so in a hurry

Nice post - I like the vocabulary you included.  I will try to use these this week;

绝对 =absolutely
juéduì

仓促 =in hurry
cāngcù

If you wanted to move to the front of the airport ticket line how would you say in Chinese something like "Can I cut in line?  I am in a hurry"
