"I cannot imagine trying to learn Mandarin exclusively via listening. Even in a submersion environment  it is very limited. However, my son learned via cartoons, books with audio CDs and our speaking at home, in which my Mandarin was limited.…"

Learning Mandarin through Video

I'm a year into an unusual Mandarin-acquisition experiment. I am trying to learn Chinese exclusively by watching movies and TV shows.
