Short Bio - what's your story? What languages do you speak & why Chinese?
Started Mandarin at age 11 and continued by coincidence; by the time I finished high school I was interested enough to continue, majored in Chinese at uni in Australia then a year full time at BLCU in Beijing. That study year was 2004 and I've been here ever since. I love languages in general - I've also studied (but am not conversational in) Thai, Indonesian/Malay, Korean, Arabic, Japanese, Latin and Cantonese, have learned some basic survival Khmer after 6 short trips there, and also did some linguistics at uni to top it all off.
